Switch to GPS. The browser asks for your location, which gives your speed.

Technology

Engine speed and gear changes are simulated from your measured speed. No vehicle data is read, and nothing leaves the screen.

Speed: Browser GPS, smoothed between fixes so the revs never jump.
Gearbox: Real ratios, final drive and tyre size per engine, with a torque cut on each shift.
Sound: Synthesized live: pitch follows firing frequency, load opens the exhaust, lift-off brings the crackle.
